Liquid Blue headlined the Beatles Forever Festival in Logoisk, Belarus

The attendance was 16,000, the most ever for the annual festival

The festival started in the early afternoon at 2:00. There were six acts ahead of Liquid Blue

Logoisk is a tiny village just outside the Belarus capitial city of Minsk

The locals called it a "mini Woodstock"

Despite the many opening acts, the crowd was highly charged in anticipation for Liquid Blue

Of the seven acts, 3 were from Moscow, one from St. Petersburg, one from Minsk, one from England

Liquid Blue played an hour set of Beatles music

The band begin the set with a five minute Sitar jam featuring Rama and Angelo

My Sweet Lord by George Harrison was the opening song

Norwegian Wood and Across the Universe featured Rama on Sitar

"A Day in the Life" was a crowd favorite

The crowd was pumped for the entire one-hour set

Nowhere is Beatles fever more alive than in Eastern Europe

The Beatles represent freedom & peace to the many new, former Soviet block countries

We were treated warmly by the crowd but it was obvious they were not fans of our current administration

Angelo was solid on the drums and was visiting his 20 country with the band

The band pulled out Paul McCartney's song "Juniors Farm" and the crowd sang along

16,000 was the bands largest crowd in Europe. 65,000 is the largest ever but happened in Asia

Security was tight but fans managed to get close

Hey Jude brought the house down as the crowd sang along

For the encore, the other performers joined Liquid Blue onstage for "All You Need Is Love"
